1. How did you find out about CVSC?
I found out about CVSC from a friend who wanted me to do a women's bootcamp class with her that Jami was teaching. It was down at the old CV CrossFit gym.
2. What is your favorite exercise or workout?
I enjoy anything with the barbell. One of my favorites is when Jami does a mini yoga session after a workout.
3. How long have you been a member at CVSC?
I have been a member of CVSC for about 11 years. I love the place and the friendships I have made.
4. What do you do for a living?
I am a Family and Consumer Sciences Educator at Mountain Crest High School.
5. What are your hobbies?
My current hobbies include watching my boys play A LOT of baseball (my favorite hobby), hiking, adventuring with my family, and sewing.
6. What are your goals?
Get to the gym 3 times a week, never stop educating myself, and one of these days show horses in reining competitions.
7. Why do you train?
I train for overall wellness. I train at CVSC because it helps me achieve any other fitness goal I may have.
8. Any advice for future members?
Don’t give up. Give it time and trust the process. Don’t compare yourself to anyone else in the gym, it’s about your success. Ask for constructive criticism from the trainers. When life gets hard CVSC will be your saving grace.
