1. How did you find out about CVSC?
My wife signed me up for a membership for my 29 birthday. It’s been the birthday gift that keeps on giving.
2. What is your favorite exercise or workout?
Snatches and thrusters (when my knees are cooperating).
3. How long have you been a member at CVSC?
Almost 8 years
4. What do you do for a living?
VP of research & development at event production company (currently producing the Water Lantern Festival).
5. What are your hobbies?
Songwriting, vintage clothing, good food, tenkara fishing, hanging out and watching shows with my wife, kids, and cats
6. What are your goals?
20 pull ups, learn to cook authentic Thai food, and someday start a record store that my kids can work at when they are teenagers if they want
7. Why do you train?
Maintaining the habit of attending the gym and training is something that makes me feel good both physically and mentally. It sets the tone for the day and helps me be more productive in my personal and professional life.
8. Any advice for future members?
I had never seriously worked out at a gym before coming to CVSC. When I first started, It was great to know that each day’s workout had already been thoughtfully planned for me. The key is to just show up, do what is written on the board, and start sweating! There will always be something new to learn, a technique to improve, and a new goal to accomplish. Brad and the CVSC team want you to succeed.
